My Butter London Eye Gloss swatches + tips of using + revive the dried out Eye Gloss

Tomorrow, the Butter London Eye Gloss will be $12 each(50% off) at Ulta. I want to show you the color swatches since I like them so much and want you to have them too, especially with 50% off! You can wear them alone or as a base.

Not all the shades I have are available on sale at Ulta tomorrow but they are all beautiful! The Oil Slick is the most popular one.

Trust me, they are much prettier on your eyelids than on my arm!

My tips of using:

These are gel-like eyeshadows stored in a jar. Keep the inner lid to make the gel texture lasts longer. And make sure to twist your lid tight!

I use silicon eyeshadow applicator to dab into the jar, not with my fingertips. I really can’t guarantee my hands and nails are germ-free. Then, I use my fingertips to blend the eyeshadow on my lids. Very easy to blend but do it quickly. The applicator I use is from Pur Minerals but I don’t see them at Pur Minerals online store anymore. You can find similar kind at BH Cosmetics.

To revive the dried out eye gloss

The Glazen Eye Glosses are very pretty but they get dried up much quicker than you expect! My jar of Starlight was completely dried and not usable when I swatched them. I bought it last November.

My quick fix is to spray a little water into the jar and then stir the shadow with my silicon applicator. Voila! The texture is back to jello very quickly. I only pump once since I don’t have to soften the whole jar. All I need is a little bit on my lids.

The liquid in my Julique facial mist bottle is plain water. I use that to damp my brushes and sponges.

As you can see, the eyeshadow on the applicator is liquidy now.

Shade Starlight after the fix.

Thanks for the quick fix-can’t wait to try it! I got a set of these in November and didn’t open them until today and Starlight is the only one already dried up!! Never got the chance to use it, so I’m happy that I can try to revive it!!
