I made this purchase more than 2 months ago. Here is my previous post about this deal. I’ve used the Zoya Naked Manicure kit several times since then, now it’s the time to review it.

What does this Naked Manicure Woman Kit do and Who needs it?

It practically gives your nails a pretty natural look. It’s for someone who wants to cover their defective looking nails or damaged nails only with a natural look, but not with a colored nail polish.

If your nails lost its natural color and shine by frequent nail polishing, or even worse by gels, then this set can bring the natural looks back and might be even prettier natural look than your own nails. Yes, you fake a natural look by a set of nail polishes.

Zoya even has Men’s Kit, but I think man like my husband will never let his nails painted at all by anything.

In the picture, from left to right:

Naked Base – It’s a base coat. It supposed to moisturize and nourish your nails. It dries fast, I like this one! This is the only bottle matters to me in this set.

Pink Perfector – this is the one give the natural color to your nails, also smooths your nails. You do 2 coats of that, but to me 1 coat is just fine. There are other Perfector colors, like purple which will be good for yellowish nails. Perfector got thick texture so it can cover up some nail ridges too, but not completely. 

Tip Perfector – it practically is a white nail polish, but not that dense white. Use it just like doing the French tip, which I am not that good at. I will pair this tip perfector with my glitters.

Satin Seal Top Coat – A matte but not that matte top coat. It takes away some shine of the perfector that you just put on, which make your nails shine just like natural ones.

Will I buy this kit again?

No. BUT, I will buy the NM base coat. I like the fact that it not only just serves as base coat, but it also nourish your nails. It dries really fast. I probably will try the NM Glossy top coat.

I only use the 4 bottle altogether once, which it meant to be. It’s nice, but personally I prefer some shiny pretty colors! So, what I do most of the time is to use the base coat and perfector, then put on whatever nail polish I like. It works great!

Qtica Solid Gold Anti-Bacterial Oil Gel .5oz Tube, a $12 value. This thing is expensive, but it is a good stuff. This small tube can last for a long time. I use it when I don’t do the nails. I like it, but I don’t think I will buy it. Hand lotion or even olive oil will just do good for me.

Zoya Remove Plus Nail Polish Remover 2oz. , a $4.6 value. It contains Acetone, also called 2-Propanone. Yes, it will dry your nails. That’s why I don’t feel special about this remover. It does the work, but you probably can find cheaper alternative somewhere else.
