My Sephora Weekly Wow purchases + free gifts

I think the first couple weeks’ Sephora Weekly Wow sales are the best so far. I made two orders and here are what I got!

Order 1:

A close look at the Smashbox #SHAPEMATTERS PALETTE. Very happy to get it for half price!

The free gifts with a promo code – EL Edit lipstick deluxe sample + some fragrance vials.

3 free samples I got, only the Living Proof is what I chose.

Order 2:

The free gifts with a promo code and $40 purchase.

3 free samples I got, they replaced my fragrance sample with Becca Foundation packette.

      Sephora weekly wow sales are 1 week only. I bought these in August, yes, they were very popular and sold out fast!

    I’ve been so frustrated with Sephora. A couple of weeks ago, I placed an order and entered the code for the free hair sample kit. I then got an email saying that they ran out of the hair sample kids, and would send me my order without the freebie. Just today, I placed another order, and used the code for the korres VIB sample kit, and received an email saying that they ran out of the kids and I would receive my order without my sample. Again.

      It won’t be helpful now that your order shipped without the freebies, but my experience has been that you’re most likely to have a gift with purchase cancelled if it’s a gift that went out of stock, then appeared again. Also, any gifts that have been around a while (more than a week or two) can sometimes get cancelled. I always try to use very recent codes for that reason. (Thinking at least the Korres kit has been around for a while as I think I got it three or four weeks ago.)

      I highly recommend you contact the Sephora Customer Service. I placed 5 or 6 orders in August, the 3 free samples were never right. So, I emailed them about this issue, they credited me 200 points for that. You used your VIB promo code and didn’t get your free gifts, I think they should really credit you more, not just for the missing freebies, also the waste of your time to choose the freebies and frustration of not getting them.

        i emailed them and only got a reply saying the bonus codes were valid while supplies last, and since they ran out, I was out of luck. I think they should inactivate their code if they won’t honor it.

          I’d email them back to request for free gift replacement or points credit since you lost the spot for the free gifts you are supposed to get. Pls don’t feel bad for doing so. It’s their fault, not yours.
