I made this purchase about one and half month ago. The Space NK brand Powder Brush is $10, regularly $40.
I paid $0 + tax + free shipping.
Highlights of this purchase:
- Used my $10 free credit that Space NK awarded me for free. Good customer service!
- Used Shoprunner for 2 days free shipping on any purchase
- I forgot to pick the 3 free samplers at check out, again!
About this Space NK Powder Brush – DO NOT BUY! And, I will stay away any Space NK brand brushes. It’s made cheap.
My complaints:
- My biggest complaint – the smell is nauseating once I opened the package. It’s kinda hard to describe. It might come from improper storage or the way it was made, yucky chemicals?! I washed it multiple times and let it air out for over a month, then I could start to use it. And, the smell is still there if I pay attention to it.
- It sheds during washing and applying the powder.
- It loses black coloring during the wash.
- It was described as goat hair, but it feel quite synthetic to me
- Yes, it’s soft but still scratchy.
I like Space NK, good customer service, got some good selections on skincare products, but not this brush! I am not returning this brush since it’s pretty much free to me. I just feel awkward to return. I really want to love it, but it is my backup brush right now.
Kathy, so sorry that your SpaceNK brush turned out to be so awful.
When I made my recent order, I looked at all of SpaceNK’s various brands’ items, and decided to check out SpaceNK brand’s brushes. I was curious as to why a couple of brushes were so inexpensive. The reviews on them were pretty revealing. Couple that with your experience, and people should REALLY stay away from SpaceNK brand brushes.

P.S. You’re right about SpaceNK having good customer service. My order went through but my N.Dulge dollars were not applied. They’ll remedy this by crediting my VISA at a later time.
